Jesse Reitner, owner of Lox Stock & Deli and 18 Carat Caterers, brings you over 36 years of experience in the food industry. It was a love of cooking at the age of 14, which influenced Jesse while he worked at "Reitner's Kosher Meat & the Kosher Kitchen", a family business in Bayonne, NJ. He began preparing foods for the store and eventually started their off-premise catering department. His passion for food later inspired him to work at various venues in upstate New York where he was trained by executive chefs. Jesse really got his hands on experience in the catering business while working at "Jan Marc Caterers" along with Marc Mutterperl; who is now an executive staff member of the 18 Carat Caterers. In 1998, Jesse was employed by Dean & Deluca in NYC. While working in their corporate catering department, Jesse mastered his culinary repertoire and presentation skills while maintaining his high standards of kosher cooking.
