Why Choose Leggz?
Leggz Dance Academy teaches over 500 dance students in our state-of-the-art 4500 square foot training facility. Our students have danced professionally all over the world for companies such as Walt Disney World, Tokyo Disney, Sea World, Orlando Magic, and Princess, Holland American and Disney Cruise Lines. Students frequently receive scholarships to study at The Florida Dance Festival, Alvin Ailey's, American Ballet Theatre and the Rockette's Summer Intensive courses. Many students have graduated as Dance Majors from the University of South Florida and Hofstra University. Leggz Dance Academy is the only dance school in Central Florida to be registered with England's Royal Academy of Dance. We follow their dress code and syllabus, and once a year, an examiner flies in to test the ballet students. The RAD is the world's leading organization in classical ballet teaching, having approximately 13,000 members in 79 countries. All of our dance classes have a set curriculum. This creates consistency among all teachers at the studio. Classes are not only age appropriate, but are also geared to the individual student's ability. Students are always encouraged to do their best, but are not taught steps that are beyond their ability level, which could potentially cause injury.
Why We Don't Do Competitions?
We feel that the only competition a child should have is within themselves. All of the students encourage each other and cheer when someone accomplishes their goal. We do not have a dance company, but rather, we choose different dances from our previous recital to perform at local venues. This gives ALL children the opportunity to perform and not just the best students.
Performance Opportunities
Each year students ages 3 through adults have the opportunity to perform in our Annual Recital at the Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre in Orlando. The 2000 seat theatre is the home to many top performers and the Orlando Broadway series. The rehearsal and recital always run on time moving from number to number with only a few seconds between. Dismissal is in an orderly fashion taking no more than 15 minutes. Organization of the show is top priority at Leggz.

is a dance school located near Orlando in Kissimmee, Florida. We offer dance classes for kids and adults. Our team of world-class dance instructors specialize in all forms of dance including Ballet, Hip Hop and Salsa and others.
Leggz Dance Academy has grown over the last 27 years
and today we teach over 500 students in our state-of-the-art 4500 square foot training facility. Every year we have a couple of dozen students studying at the Osceola County School for the Arts.
For the last four years we have been picked as "Best Dance Studio"
in the Osceola County News Gazette's "Readers' Choice Awards". Also in 2011, we took 1st and 2nd place in the Kissimmee/Osceola County Chamber of Commerce's "Dancing with the Chamber Stars".
