On any given night at Le Languedoc, from the balmiest evening in August to the coziest blustery November night, an eclectic mix of locals, visitors, couples, singles, old-timers and newcomers can be found enjoying a perfect night on Nantucket over some of the island's best food and wine.
Sit downstairs in the bustling café and enjoy a casual supper from our bar menu, or for a more refined dining experience, reserve a table in the upstairs dining room to enjoy a memorable night out – and when the warm summer months roll around, stop by the terrace for a relaxing lunch or dinner outdoors.
Le Languedoc's cuisine is based on classic French techniques, yet influence and elegance is drawn from the freshest, most exquisite ingredients from Nantucket, New England, and around the world. We believe in simple un-complicated food, perfect execution, and clean presentation – each dish is meant to bring out the pure flavors of its ingredients. Alongside our ever-changing menu of innovative new dishes, a few treasured favorites always remain: softshell crabs and shad roe in the spring, Bartlett Farm tomatoes and corn in the summer, Nantucket Bay scallops and black truffles in the winter.
Established in 1976, Le Languedoc is truly an institution on Nantucket; owners Alan and Ann Cunha, Neil Grennan and Eddie Grennan have been at the helm for 35 years – a rare feat on an island where change can too often be the norm.
