Bernice has a passion for food, with an artistic flair. “I think of food like a palette of paint to create with,” said Bernice. “I like to create a pretty picture.” Le Grand Bistro is more than pretty food though. You will find fresh ingredients, meals made from scratch in a European tradition. The atmosphere is pleasant, colorful, inviting, yet casual. On the menu you will find dishes influenced by the French, Greek, Italian, British and All American. The menu will be changed regularly to introduce new ideas and see how they are accepted. While Bernice would like to share her passion for European foods, she realizes that introducing new ideas should come slowly. One addition that has been universally embraced is European Ice Cream - Gelato. The Gelato can be found on nearly every corner in Europe, but is only starting to be introduced in New York and LA. Recently, an older gentleman brought his grandson in for Gelato. He claimed that he and his grandson walked a mile and a half for the Gelato.
