Yosef Kuperman is the firm's associate.
He's in it for the research and writing. Normal people think insurance is dry, boring, dull, and too hard to learn. They didn't become insurance lawyers. Yosef, on the other hand...
Yosef's a local.
UMBC (B.A. in History cum laude) and then UB Law (magna cum laude). When he's not reading insurance policies, he co-chairs the BABC Historical Committee, sees every piece of theater he can find a ticket to, researches legal history, and writes like he's running short on time.
So, for example, if you want to know about the "Maryland Jew Bill of 1826" or read his paper on the origins of judicial elections in Maryland, he'll talk your ear off.
Seriously. The journal he was on at UB published it
Yosef Kuperman, "Whose Bright Idea Was This Anyway: The Origins of Judicial Elections in Maryland." 46 U. Balt. Law F. 88 (No. 2, 2016).
