Kevin and Kathi bring almost 40 years of combined experience in the restaurant industry to L‘Amante. Kathi has worked in every aspect of front-of-house operations in many different types of dining establishments in the Boston Area, Cape Cod, Florida, Hawaii, Vermont and Italy. After attending the New England Culinary Institute, Kevin cooked at some of the most highly acclaimed Italian restaurants in the Boston area including Pignoli and IL Capriccio, where he spent two years as the Sous Chef. He has also worked in the Michelin 2-star restaurant San Domenico in Imola, Italy and Osteria di Rendola in Tuscany. Kevin is also the founder and director of the Vermont Wine School in Burlington, Vermont. Kevin and Kathi visit Italy often to see old friends, catch up on the latest in food and wine and tour wine regions. Since opening in May of 2003, L’Amante has received fantastic reviews from 7 Days, The Burlington Free Press, Food and Wine Magazine, The New York Times and The Boston Globe.
