Lakeshore is a public 18 hole golf course that opened for business in 1962 in Durham, North Carolina. The course features 5,839 yards from the longest tees for a par of 71 with a course rating of 67.3 and a slope rating of 117 on Bermuda grass. The course is conveniently located in Durham, only minutes from the RDU airport and also very close to Research Triangle Park. The golf course winds its way around a scenic 30 acre lake that also serves as the driving range for the course. Designed by J. Marvin Utley, the Lakeshore golf course opened in 1962 and Lakeshore is proud to say that it is still owned and operated by the same family that built it in the early 1960's.
