ALL CLASSES ARE 60 MINUTES
Yoga Fundamentals
Designed for those who are new to yoga or those who would like to deepen their knowledge of the practice, this class explores the proper alignment and importance of each pose. The class begins with meditation and breath work to settle into the present moment and progresses into mindful movement, exploring the foundational poses of a traditional vinyasa yoga practice. We move at a gentle pace, ending each class with a deep relaxation. This is an all-levels class, providing modifications for beginners as well as deeper expressions for seasoned practitioners.
Gentle Yoga
This class incorporates gentle yoga postures, linking breath, movement, and the emotional body to create a connection between all aspects of the individual. Through deep stretching and a formatted progression we work into the body and mind's deeper layers to unlock your own healing capacity - empowering you to manifest to your fullest potential. Classes running with seven or fewer will typically utilize our Great Yoga Wall. Suitable for all levels.
Slow Flow
Slow Vinyasa Flow is a therapeutic dance of moving meditation. The instructor monitors the classroom and creates a slow synchronized dance, evaluating how and when a pose should be modified due to physical limitations, or limitations in experience. Move, breathe, and stretch; Slow Flow brings the element of time into the practice to mentally engage with the body, as you move through the series. The pace may be slower, but challenges will be present with difficulties to work through. Slow flow allows a person to become familiar with his or her body, create a reflective pause, and create the time to go inward.
Vinyasa Flow
This class is dynamic, composed of a series of poses blended together in the Vinyasa style to create heat and energy flow. The instructor will provide modifications and variations, guiding students into poses at their own individual level and comfort, making the classes suitable for all levels. Sequences will challenge the mind and body, offering physical space and mental balance through movement and breath
Yin Yoga
A perfect complement to the dynamic and muscular (yang) styles of yoga that emphasize internal heat, and the lengthening and contracting of the muscles. Yin targets connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine, into the ligaments, bones, and the joints of the body that normally are not exercised in a more active Flow practice. Be ready for longer holds and stretching on the mat, and deep meditative poses that will seriously transcend you
Yoga for Tight Muscles
This customized class gives you the time and tools to stretch, eliminate toxins, heal from injury, and bring balance back to the body. Specific muscle-loosening movements create space and relieve tension for the body and mind to work effectively and efficiently together. Includes restorative poses that utilize props and bolsters. Become adaptable with whatever life throws your way with results from this therapeutic class designed for all levels.
Meditative Restorative
Offered on Sunday afternoons. Students are guided through tranquil meditation while in long-hold gentle yoga poses with the support of blankets, bolsters, and various yoga props. A perfect way to end the weekend and start your week off refreshed! All ages are welcome for this class
