About Us
Only Japanese owned and operated Restaurant in Grand Forks. The owner is Sachi MacGregor and she was born and raised in Okinawa. Kon Nechi Wa's started 11 years ago as a mobile kitchen selling egg rolls and fried rice meals at county fairs and farmer markets. Then opened in the Grand Cities mall where we were the first japanese restaurant to make sushi. Sachi received her training and recipe from a sushi master in Okinawa.
