Not only is the Wailua River the only navigable stream in the whole of Polynesia, it also offers relatively little current, making it the perfect site for a leisurely escape into nature. After a brief training orientation, you'll be off and paddling. Two miles of upstream adventure await! After passing an old Hawaiian Village, you'll arrive at a North Fork island. Once you've secured your kayak, you'll continue your adventure on foot, finding yourself immersed in the tropical rain forest of the Wailua River Valley. There, pristine canyons and isolated waterfalls await your exploration. Bring lunch and take some time to rest up for your trip back!
