Rabies Parvovirus, DHLLP, Bordetella is preferred but not required.
We prefer that you bring your pets normal food with them as a change in diet is not good especially during times of stress, but we will provide food and treats if this is not possible.
We allow and encourage the freshly laundered bedding that your pet normally uses.
Toys are not only welcomed but encouraged.
No leashes are need unless your pet requires something special. NOTE. No dogs will be walked on the trails without a choke collar (choke chain supplied) of some type or a well fitting personal harness. This is for the prevention of your dog slipping out of its collar and becoming lost, not for control. . This comes from years of personal experience with dogs. We generally use a flex leash and allow free wandering during walk time. This does not exclude your dog for use of the play yard only the walking trail.
Reservations are required
Pick up time is 10 AM so if your pet is picked up by then you will not be charged for that day.
Pick up after 10 am will be counted as an addition days stay. Drop off can occure at any time betwen 8 AM and 5 PM and will be counted as the first days stay. We will work with anyone that is unable to make the drop off times for no additional charge with enough notice. We discourage late drop offs as this give us little time with which to bond with our guest.
Discounts are available for extensive stays and multiple pets We reserve the right to say how many animals may share a room. For example our large rooms have housed six very small dogs but that would not work in a small room. We realize that money is tight for many people but we will not compromise the care we give our guests.

Large room with rug
This is one of our lager kennels. The pet door, at the rear of the kennel, gives access to the private patio. The floor of the patio is made of crush and run (no concrete) which provides a softer and natural material that your pet may toilet on. Under the crush and run is a strong wire mesh to prevent digging out but will allow your pet to play dig if they wish. We find this allows stimulating play and helps with frustration. They may get a little dirty but they have fun and will surprisingly spend a lot of time on the patio if they like being out of doors.
Large room with easy chair
Here is another of the larger kennels, this one with an easy chair. Remember all kennels come with a ceiling fan and are fully heated or air-conditioned depending on the season.
Small Room, Patio Area & Play Yard
This is one of our small rooms and as you can see it comes with a spacious area for sleep and meal times. It too has a ceiling fan and pet door for access to the outdoor patio that your pet can use any time they wish. From the patio they can take in the sights or just get some fresh air. Again it has a crush and run for play or potty time if they have not used their walk and play time to do their business.
Out Door Patio
These are the patios. They are large and lend a view of our beautiful tree property. They are separated by a strong wooden fence to reduce if not eliminate fence fighting as each guest is unable to see their neighbor. A strong wire structure has been place below the floor to prevent digging out. They are airy, open, shady, secure and add additional space to each living area. It is a rare occurrence that our guest are unable to master the pet door, but remember should this occur they are walked or allowed to run in the play yard several times a day.
This is one view of the play yard. The yard is completely fenced and secure, allowing your pet safe and unhindered play. It provides enough area to tucker out even the most active dog. They can chase balls, splash in the play pool or just sniff to their hearts content. We interact with each dog to meet their specific needs or just allow them to wander at their leisure.

Kamp Kritter is a kennel for animals that takes its inspiration from owners who never found a kennel good enough for their fury family members. We specialized in dogs and cats but are usually able to meet the needs of almost any pet. Located in middle Tennessee we are a small owner/operated boarding facility nestled in a hollow with streams, trails and a multitude of trees. The building's construction of concrete block and sheet rock walls between rooms, make for a quiet and homey environment. Each room is climate controlled, open and airy with glass front doors so your pet does not have the feeling of being confined. Rooms come with a private patio and view of the hollow . The patios are separated by a privacy fence that your pet accesses through its own private door so they never have to soil their rooms. Each room has a window to let in natural light, and a ceiling fan for maximum circulation. The floors are composite tile and padded with rugs for those who do not chew and come in 3 sizes. We offer trips to our large play yard several times a day, and/or a walk on the trails if preferred. We even have a kiddie pool for those guests who like to get wet.
