Shaolin Kung Fu
Duration: 90 min; Free; Come practice Shaolin Kung Fu, one of the oldest institutionalized styles of Chinese martial arts! This ancient practice originated in a Buddhist Shaolin temple in China, eventually becoming one of the largest schools of kung fu. During this session you'll work on your flexibility, balance, and strength as you run through basic kung fu moves. But Shaolin kung fu isn't all physical; it's also a mentally strengthening exercise. You'll develop mind-body awareness, learning to listen to your body to prevent injuries before they occur. Self-discipline is a key component to Shaolin kung fu that will help you to calm your mind and cultivate a healthy body!
