Just For You Cafe started out in 1990 as a little bitty diner on 18th Street in Potrero Hill, a sleepy neighborhood on the east edge of San Francisco. We had two tables and a countertop that sat a dozen folks elbow-to-elbow. The place was always packed with patient customers eager for some good home-cooking, even if it meant waiting 45 minutes for Sunday brunch at the one table we had that could seat four people. Our white, wheat and cinnamon-raisin bread is baked right here, with no additives or preservatives. And our rye bread is from the fine folks at Acme. Our chicken-apple sausage, prosciutto, and ham are made with no artificial preservatives by local charcuterie Zoe’s Meats. We never cook with trans fats. Delicia Foods creates a custom-blended seed oil just for us. We hand-cut kennebec potatoes to make our french fries and home fries.
grapes We serve fresh fruits & vegetables (never frozen or canned) and buy organic whenever the price allows. Our seafood is mostly caught locally and purchased fresh each day from Royal Hawaiian Seafood.
