The concept of Joy Burger Bar was merely a dream before the founders set their dreams in motion. Their mission: to provide New Yorkers with the ultimate tasting experience offering a wide variety of home-made burgers, old-fashioned fries, salads, sides and beverages made from the finest, freshest, all natural, local ingredients.
Joy Burger Bar was never on a path to be your average corner burger joint. Instead, patrons would create their own flavors by designing the burger of their dreams (whether it be beef, turkey, or veggie) cooked, seasoned and completed with a selection of unique, healthy toppings and delectable sauces whose top-secret recipes originated in the kitchens of the founders themselves.
After spending countless hours perfecting their recipes to be delectable to even the most discriminating New Yorker’s palette, and selecting a location in an up-and-coming Upper East side neighborhood, the first Joy Burger Bar was born, opening its doors in the Fall of 2007.
To date, Joy Burger Bar continues to be a family affair; all locations are family-owned and operated. And thus, Joy Burger Bar’s commitment to excellence, healthfulness and attentive customer service continues as they strive to provide New Yorkers with an expansive menu filled with healthy options. It is with great passion that each burger is hand-ground and seasoned, each potato is hand-cut and every ice-cold lemonade is made from fresh squeezed lemons before being finished off with a sprig of fresh mint.
