Since 1972, Jabil Kennels has offered boarding and grooming for dogs and cats. Our aim is to provide a place where you can feel comfortable leaving your pet, where your cat and dog go to stay with friends instead of "keepers". Pets don't have to "do time" in a kennel; they can feel safe and secure, and so can you. We also have lifetime of dog show experience that we can use to groom your dog, whether it be a house pet or a show dog

History
The genesis of Jabil Kennels began in 1946. Jessie Young, newly married and moved from New Jersey to New Hampshire, bought a Collie. Jessie, a life-long animal lover, worked to transform the once-shy puppy into a confident adult, eventually earning a CDX obedience title. Along with three children, Jessie raised Collies as a hobby. One of her obedience instructors suggested a kennel prefix: Combine the JA of Jessie's nickname Jay, with the Bill from her husband Bill, and Jabil Kennels was born. Through the years a Doberman, Beagle, German Shepherd, 2 Dalmations, a Great Dane and 2 Toy Poodles were part of the Jabil household. In 1969 Jessie and her daughter Barbara bought a Pomeranian and became active in dog shows. Grooming skills were honed during the two decades of showing Poms and Shih Tzus, with Terrier stripping, Cockers and Coated Breed skills. On 4/1/72, Jessie and Barbara officially opened JABIL KENNELS as a Boarding and Grooming Kennel, and had way too much fun as a mother/daughter partnership until Jessie's death in 2006. Barbara continues the tradition.

Jabil is a small facility, and has remained so intentionally. By staying small each pet can get extra TLC from the same person, and a bond can form that last from visit to visit. We treat your pet like it is our pet, and take time to learn what special things make him happy. We have been blessed with generations of pet customers. Groomers are not rushed through their appointments. We will groom your dog in the style you request, or can use our expertise.

subject to change. Additional dogs and cats with same owner, deduct $1 per day per additional pet.
