About Us
Nestled in the heart of Paradise, California, Izzy's is a restaurant that provides top quality food in a fun old-fashioned atmosphere. The secret to our famous burgers consists of ground beef purchased fresh from the butcher shop, fresh vegetables and buns delivered several times a week, and a trained staff that will only serve up food that they themselves would eat. Izzy's is owned and operated by Jim and Phyllis Mowrey and we take pride in serving only the freshest ingredients, cooked to order. We fell in love with the cute dining room filled with the black and white checkered floor and black and white photos of all our favorite actors/actresses that truly take you back in time, and knew that this restaurant was for us. We purchased Izzy's on May 1, 2006 and have expanded the menu. We have added delivery service to all of Paradise. We enjoy giving back to our community by hosting cruise & bike nights throughout the summer and donating a portion of the proceeds from each night to non-profit organizations. We look forward to interacting with our customers personally and are always available to discuss local events, the weather, or whatever may be on your mind. We have found the folks in Paradise to be very kind and friendly and we look forward to serving all for years to come.
