About Us
Inspirations Gifts, Decor, and Tea Room was started in February of 2005 by Larry and Tamara Rhoads, to fulfill their desire to have a place in Edmond and Oklahoma City that could encourage faith, family, and friends. Through every step of the business, they have been overwhelmed by the blessing that has been bestowed upon Inspirations, and are grateful for God’s providence each day. Inspirations strives to honor the memory of Tamara’s sister, April, a very special person who loved to encourage others through her unfailing kindness and cheerfulness. April was taken to Heaven in 1995 in a tragic accident that forever changed the way the Rhoads family views life. Through the sorrow of the loss of April, the Rhoads have spent the years since enjoying every day with their family and focusing on ways to encourage others.
