Open seven days a week from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. our Manton Tasting room is located at 31559 Forward Road in Manton, California. Join us for a casual, friendly tasting experience. Buy a bottle of wine to enjoy with one of our Tapas plates!
Graeagle Tasting Room
Our tasting room in the picturesque town of Graeagle, California is located behind the park in the old preschool. We have live music most weekends on our stage with plenty of seating outside in the playground. The Graeagle Tasting Room is open seasonally, so be sure to call for hours: (530) 836-2466.

2012 Sauvignon Blanc
Love this wine! Fred has been on a roll with Sauvignon Blanc. A combination of Fig, Honeysuckle, Green Apple and spice flavors. The barrel fermentation makes it even richer. It drinks full-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel, very elegant, almost thick through the finish. Only 46 cases of this wine were made.

2011 Chardonnay
A very flamboyant style with butterscotch, buttered toast and vanilla. Excellent acidity makes your mouth water. It has creamy flavors that finish long and dry. “All you need is a good movie and some popcorn”.

The Last Abstract
Lots to like in this wine. It shows Zins briery, wild nature with that acidic, delightfully sharp fruit taste you get from freshly-picked berries plucked from thorn bushes in the height of summer, yet it possesses elegant tannins and a softness toward the back of the palate.

2010 Merlot
This wine lives up to Merlot’s reputation as being “the soft Cabernet”. It has deep, rich berry flavors and is very mellow and velvety. It is complex and elegant.

2010 Cabernet Sauvignon
Sleek, smooth and elegant, with fine tannins that frame a wine that’s flush with plum, cassis, anise, herb and chocolate flavors. Plush and velvety on the palate, it’s got a finish that just doesn’t quit. Cabernet doesn’t get much better, anytime or anywhere. “This is a wine that should be in your cellar.”

2009 Reserve Syrah
Soft and fragrant, smooth and showing a pleasing mix of blackberry and plum this wine has no rough edges, a little leather and bittersweet chocolate as it slides through the palate with the grace of a dancer. Its soft tannins leaving you with a hint of soft earth.

2009 Reserve Merlot
Rich plum, earth and sweet spice aromas followed by lush velvety blackberry, herb, coffee and plum all supported by firm, ripe tannins and fine body. Long and smooth finish.

2010 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon
Quite dark and rich, yet holding on to the fruit of youth, this wine offers layers of complex flavors. Blackberry, cassis, chocolate, coffee, herbs, toasty oak, cedar and smoke blend nicely here. It’s a lot deeper than the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon due to the extra year in oak (33 months total). The tannins are firm.

2009 Reserve Cabernet
After another 12 months in oak the flavors in this Cabernet have become deeper and richer; the massive fruit is even more complex pulling out more plum and riper dark berries. It’s velvety mouthfeel and toasty oak finish is framed with firm soft tannins a pinch of tobacco and earth. “Extraordinary”.

Fredness
Here’s a muscular, intense Bordeaux blend from our hillside estate. The fruit lends it firm, dusty tannins. The explosive Cherry, Plum and Berry fruit and lush, sweet oak give it a savory flavor that’s very drinkable now, but the balance and the harmony suggest the ability to age for a long time. A superb wine.

Made from Syrah, this mixed vintage port is aged for one and two years in oak. It is very rich full of a harmonious blend of black cherry, plum and a hint of brown sugar. Imagine if you will, a fireplace, some dark chocolate and a glass of this wine. “Decadent.”

Our Friends
Indian Peak’s harvest is one of the most important and exciting times of the year.
We watch our grapes grow and mature through all the long hot summer months, then when the grapes are just right, usually the first half of September, we Harvest!!
During harvest we email friends and family to invite them to join us for a harvest party.
This is a yearly tradition that is highly enjoyed by all those who come and participate!
Indian Peak Vineyards Wine Club
Members can come to a pick-up party held the first Saturday in each delivery month: March, July and November. Members not attending will have their wine shipped on the 10th of the month. Wine club members are also invited to attend an annual exclusive dinner at the winery. Dates and products subject to change.
Sage Club
With the Sage Club you pay $19.99 per shipment + tax, shipping and handling and receive one bottle of wine in March, July and November. Plus you receive 15% off all wine purchases.
Shaman Club
In the Shaman Club you pay $39.99 per shipment + tax, shipping and handling and receive two bottles of wine in March, July and November. You will receive $20% off all wine purchases.

Indian Peak Vineyards is a small family owned and operated winery in the little town of Manton in Northern California.Our goal is to produce the very best quality wine possible from our unique location.
Our goal is to produce the very best quality wine possible from our unique location. We are currently producing Cabernet Sauvingon, Merlot, Petite Sirah, Port, Chardonnay, and Sauvingon Blanc.
Our vineyards are at 2200ft elevation on the western slope of Mount Lassen in Northern California. Our soils are red volcanic and well drained and they slope to the west. Our summertime temperatures usually reach 100 degrees and our night time temperatures drop to the mid 60's.
