Hoop Fitness
This class is open to all levels. Learn all the hoop basics to get you started on a new type of fitness journey! Tone and strengthen your entire body while having a blast. No experience is necessary to join.
Kids Hoop
Get your kids moving! This class teaches all the basics of hoop dance and fitness. It is designed to make your child excited about getting out there and exercising.
Spin Jam
This is a community meet up. We meet here weekly to play learn from one another and to share. All are welcome. If you want to see what hooping is all about come check it out!
Beginner Hoop Dance
This class is open to all levels. Every class will go through a certain sequence of hoop and dance moves that will allow you expand your hoop dance. No experience is needed to join.

The 30 Second Workout
This is a fitness class. Use 10 different stations designed to tone and shape you. Each station is done for 30 seconds in a series of 3 rounds. Get in shape and have fun doing it.

My name is Kelly Jean Condell
I have been a competitive gymnastics coach for nearly 20 years. I stumbled into hooping in 2007 when I found myself struggling with my own weight. I was the heaviest I had ever been in my life including during my 2 pregnancies. I felt at the time that I had tried just about every fitness program diet and gym out there. Nothing was working. When I found hooping it took me by storm. It was fun and different and made me enjoy my workouts. I couldn't put it down! I began teaching hoop dance and hoop fitness in 2010 and I continue to be just as excited about it today as I was the first day I picked up a hoop. I am the sole owner and operator of Hula Hipsters Studio. I am Hoopnotica Certified in Hoop Dance, Hoop Fitness, and Kids Hoop. It is my goal to bring hooping and fitness to as many people as possible. Let me share my knowledge and passion with you.
Class Description
Hoop Fitness, Hoop Dance
Hooping is a low impact aerobic workout. It is a great core builder, and calorie burner. Static waist hooping can burn up to 600 calories in 1 hour. Add in a bit of dance and movement and some simple conditioning and the possibilities are endless. Hooping also provides an incredible cardiovascular workout. It strengthens and tones the entire body. It enhances balance and coordination. Hooping is great for reducing stress and increasing vitality. Hooping has great emotional benefits as well. It helps to improve self-confidence. It elevates your mood and fosters creative self-expression. It is a fun workout that generates joy and laughter and allows you to clear and quiet the mind. The hula hoops used in the Hoop Fitness classes are larger and heavier then the toy you played with as a kid. They are specifically designed for ADULTS. They make it very easy to get going. You will be instructed in a way that will allow you to learn quickly and with ease.
Yoga
The benefits of yoga are widely known. Yoga can improve flexibility, muscle strength and tone. It can help improve respiration, energy, and vitality. There are many different forms of yoga from Ananda, to Hatha, to Vinyasa. All forms have many things to offer. We call Hula Hipsters yoga "Not Your Average Yoga". This is because we focus on the vitality aspect that yoga can deliver. The postures performed in this class are based on opening up your ability to increase your labido and to gain strength and flexibility for the most intimate situations. There are a mix of different styles that will be taught in any given class. As with any other yoga class you will reap the benefits of meditation, flexibility, strength and tone but in a way that is new, exciting and fun.
Fitness
Hula Hipsters Studio is the home of "The 30 Second Workout". This is a fast moving circuit training workout. Move through 10 different strength building and toning exercises in 3 rounds. Each exercise is done for 30 seconds. This class is designed to allow you to move at your own pace. Unlike other group classes there is no pressure to "keep up". Go as fast or as slow as your body needs. This is a total body workout geared towards getting you into the body you want while receiving positive reinforcement and encouragement.
Kids
We offer a wonderful and exciting program for kids age 7 to 13. The Kids Hoop Class is designed to make your child excited about getting out there and moving. The Kids Hoop class is a combination of Hoop Fitness and Hoop Dance. Your child will learn all the basics and be given the tools to explore their own way of expressing movement. Give your child the benefit of learning the importance of exercising at an early age. Exercise that is fun can build good habits of better health that can last a lifetime.
Hoop Dance
Duration: 1 hour; $20; You don't have to jump through any hoops to make it in this class. You just have to jump into one and start spinning! In this hour-long beginners-welcome class, you'll learn how to combine the skill of hula hooping with the art of dance to get a great workout and have tons of fun. Following a skilled instructor, you'll pick up basic moves and motions that will keep your hoop and your heartrate up! You'll also enjoy working in a fun, low-key studio that focuses on you achieving your personal fitness goals while also enjoying yourself. Trust us -- your inner child will thank you for this!
