All new projects this semester! This class will encourage students to think and explore their own creativity while giving them the tools necessary to be successful. School believe a combination of traditional art training and open creativity are what makes a successful art experience.
Simulations in Math
Come and join the Simulations in Math class where you will learn concepts such as pi and its relationship to a circle and scale drawings by being part of student research companies creating small-scale models of space probes.
Fossil Finders & Bug Biology
Students will go on bug hunts, dissect a grasshopper and tarantula, learn which of the following is actually an insect -- spiders, scorpions, crickets, or crabs. And compare their own athletic abilities to those of crickets. Meet our live insect family and hold some if you dare.Roll up your sleeves as we dig in to archeology.
Forensics II - All New Mysteries
This class gives students the chance to become crime scene investigators in earth, life, and physical science as well as science inquiry and technology.
Making History - Learning Through Improv!
Each week students will hear a story of adventure, intrigue, inventions, and improbable feats. Using fun and easy improvisation basics, they will jump up on their feet and act out these stories, understanding history from the point of view of the people that lived it. Forget heavy textbooks, tedious tests and lists of dates.
