Inferno Hot Pilates is a challenging full-body workout using Pilates principles. There is no impact, so it is safe practice for all fitness levels of students. Hot Pilates is a training system which combines Pilates principles with high intensity interval training and is performed in a room heated to 95 degrees Fahrenheit and 40% humidity. Why would you do Hot Pilates? Hot Pilates creates long lean muscle mass, burns fat, and increases fitness levels. It creates a stronger core, improves circulation, and increases flexibility. It is performed on a yoga mat making it zero impact, protecting your joints and muscles from the pounding of other exercises like running and jumping. How does it work? Hot Pilates combines cardio and muscle toning in a heated room. The high intensity interval training (HIIT) keeps your heart rate up, helping you burn fat. The Pilates principles sculpt your body, creating long lean muscle mass. The heat loosens up the muscles quickly, and the humidity makes you sweat — elevating your heart rate, boosting metabolism, and promoting detoxification.
Bikram Yoga 60
This class will move you through the traditional Bikram Yoga 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises in 60 minutes. It is taught in the same sequence to optimize your body. Some postures are done once, some twice, and some in a flow. This is a beginner class and gives students a strong foundation, helping them to achieve maximum therapeutic benefits in their practice. It works every part of the body, inside and out, maintaining optimum health and function. This 60 minute hot class is suitable to all levels of practitioners.
Bikram Yoga 90
This is a 90-minute practice performed in a heated room, suitable for all ages and levels of ability. Each posture stretches, strengthens, and prepares the body to work every muscle, organ, gland, and cell in the perfect order. The series was scientifically designed to bring your body back to a healthy working order, to promote weight loss, prevent illness, and limit the effects of aging. In addition, the series of postures combine skills of concentration, determination, self-control and patience, which lead to increased mental clarity and reduced stress. The added benefit of the heat helps to warm your muscles, prevent injury, and cleanse the body by flushing out all toxins. Through regular practice, you will achieve proper body weight, muscle tone & vibrant good health!
Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga is a quiet and simple practice, but not necessarily an easy practice. Yin yoga targets our deepest tissues of the body, our connective tissues — ligaments, joints, bones, and the deep fascia networks of the body — rather than the muscles. Classes consists of a series of long-held, passive floor poses that mainly work the lower part of the body—the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, lower spine. These areas are especially rich in connective tissues. In a Yin Yoga class, the poses are held for up to five minutes and possibly longer.
