Shou Pu-Erh Tea
Pu-erh is a complex category of teas being produced from Yunnan province big leaf tea plants. There are 2 main types of Pu-erh production: Raw (Sheng) and ripe (Shou). The traditional or "raw" method results in a green product that will take anywhere from 15-30 years to mature into smooth dark tea. The modern or "ripe" method produces a tea that is immediately consumable as dark tea. Due to the fact that each pu-erh vintage is limited, availability and price can change at any time.
