Since 1987, Hatfield's & McCoy's Southern Style restaurant has been dishing up the best fried catfish and barbecue in St. Louis and St. Charles county. In fact, our catfish was voted the best catfish in Northeast Missouri. This has made our owners, Derrell Gardner, a true southerner born in Winfield, Alabama and his wife Judy, born in Pocahontas, Arkansas, very proud. They were both raised in families that knew how to cook and they both love eating great food, especially fried catfish. So pull up a chair and get ready to taste the best southern style cooking this side of the Mason Dixon. Why, even our catfish are southern. We only serve grain-fed, farm pond raised catfish from Itta Bena, Mississippi. For those who prefer chicken, pork and beef, we have fried chicken, chicken fried steak, pulled pork, barbecue ribs and smoked brisket too. We are proud of our barbecue and of course, we make our own sauce.
