Harpoon Take 5 was first brewed on the Brewery's 10-barrel system in early 2014. With each pilot batch the recipe was tweaked until the desired balance between hop aroma and malt character was achieved. This final version begins with a vibrant citrus and pine hop aroma from Simcoe and Amarillo hops and follows through with a sturdy malt profile from the combination of Pale, Vienna, Carapils, and English Amber malts. Hop forward but not too bitter, low ABV but with a significant malt body – a truly sessionable beer. Named after the ancient god of darkness, Czernobog was the last beer we made in our Leviathan Series – and one of our favorites. So we stashed a few bottles in the cellar. As winter approached we noticed that our supply had dwindled and we knew it was time to go back to the brewhouse to resurrect the darkness. With powerful notes of unsweetened chocolate, dark fruit, and molasses, it's our pleasure to reintroduce this Russian Imperial Stout. This complex, yet drinkable beer is a blend of pale ale and stout. The aroma is a combination of hop from the pale ale with roasted notes and just a hint of smoke from the stout. The rounded body of the beer starts with sweetness from the caramel malt in the pale ale and finishes with aggressive roasted fullness of the stout. The finish is crisp and bitter, but with no astringency. This perfectly blended beer is the marriage of two excellent individual beers coming together to make one phenomenal brew. Two versions of the EHOP beer will be released: one brewed at our brewery in Boston and the other brewed at Deschutes in Bend, Oregon. Harpoon brewer Ethan Elston and Deschutes brewer Ryan Schmiege collaborated on both recipes. While each beer is unique, both recipes include employee-grown hops (EHOPs). The hops, along with locally sourced sage and thyme, create a full bodied amber ale that has a malty sweetness and a lingering spiciness. Both versions will be bottled and kegged for a release in Mid-Late October. Cheers to craft brewing independence! Ghost King is a grand version of a hybrid style we've come to love. After brewing several variations of white IPAs, our brewers went back to the 10-barrel pilot system and turned up the volume for this Imperial White IPA. Coriander and orange peel add some spice while a residual malt sweetness balances the citrusy, floral hop character. The end result is a very approachable, medium-bodied Imperial IPA

This is a delightfully drinkable Belgian-style ale with a big kick of American hops. A Belgian yeast strain, Bastogne, was used to brew this beer giving it a fruity/spicy character. A generous dose of hops – including Galaxy, Simcoe, Chinook, and an addition of whole Cascade hops – yields a powerful hop nose and flavor. The finish is sharp and satisfying. It's a real winner.
