Tint highlight
An all over base color or root touch up with highlights done at the same time. Great for covering grey or creating dimension. This leave no piece of hair untouched and is great for people that want to see none of their natural color.

Bleach and tone
Using lightener to remove all the natural color and achieve the brightest of blondes. This process gives a dramatic effect such as platinum, but requires frequent touch ups. If you know you are already a 'bleach and tone', feel free to book. new clients Must have a consultation before booking.

Marie Warden
Owner and colorist; Born and raised in San Francisco's Mission district, Marie was always the one who family and friend came to for color. Encouraged by her grandmother to pursue a career in hair, Marie soon found her true calling. After a brief stint in a smaller salon, she found her way to Cowboys and Angels Salon. Studying under the talented Atis Zulgis, Marie was able to perfect her talent for buttery blondes and rich brunettes. In her 17 years of working in Union Square, she has continued to take advanced training classes at the Bumble and Bumble Academy in New York and the Vidal Sassoon school in Santa Monica. Marie is a mentor to many young colorists and is looking forward to creating a community of talented stylists with Katie Casey at Harper Paige.
Katie Casey
Owner and colorist; Katie's decade long career started right after high school when she moved to Santa Monica to attend the prestigious Vidal Sassoon Academy. After graduating from the program, she moved to San Francisco where she began her internship at the well known Cowboys and Angels Salon in Union Square. Katie has been voted best colorist in San Francisco by Allure magazine two years in a row. Ask anyone who sees her for color and they will tell you Katie has a talent for knowing what color best suits you. Having followed her dream of owning her own salon, she hopes to continue to grow and be inspired by the world and the people around her.
Brandie Surnock
As a young girl in Palm Springs, it was obvious that Brandie was destined to do hair. Brandie was never shy about cutting her own hair if it wasn't right and she frequently practicing on her cousins. At 12 she discovered Vogue and fell in love with the hair and costumes used to create the stories. Brandie moved to San Francisco to be near her favorite aunt, a well known local business owner. Shortly after arriving in the city she got a job at the S.F. Opera in the costume department. During her time at the opera she found herself gravitating toward the hair more then the costumes, and decided to go to beauty school. She began her training at the prestiges Cowboys and Angels salon under Michelle Snyder and Marcy Harmon. Since beginning her journey more than a decade ago Brandie has always been a dedicated teacher and now is the head of education at Harper Paige salon. Brandie's style is a mix of gypsy Stevie Knicks meets California casual. She has a cult following of people ranging from hipsters to housewives, CEO'S to college students. She draws her inspiration from Pattie Smith, Anita Pallenberg, and Diane Keaton (circa 1970). When Brandie is not doing hair, she enjoys making custom natural perfumes and exploring the natural beauty the bay area has to offer.
Sarah Jordan
Sarah found her passion as a stylist at the Gene Juarez Salon in Seattle Washington. As she studied under longtime mentor Christophe Soltane, she became inspired by his professionalism, his passion, and his vision for the craft. After spending four years building a strong career and finding herself as a stylist, it was time for a new challenge. Abandoning the comforts of home and moving to San Francisco was the next step. She drew inspiration from the many artistic minds and beauty this city has to offer. Finding a home at Harper Paige, Sarah is excited to bring her passion for the industry and to grow as an artist.
Christina La Moglia
Beginning her career at a very young age, Christina was always clear about what she wanted to do. Being a stylist and creating shape and dimension both with cut and color, was and still is her passion. She has a knack for listening and always considers the clients wants, needs, and lifestyle. Christina, born and raised in San Francisco is a lover of art, music, food, culture, and people. After owning a salon for ten years she decided to enjoy the freedom of being an independent contractor and joined our team. With a renewed sense of enthusiasm and inspiration after fourteen years in the industry, she wants to continue to learn and grow. She is excited to be downtown and surrounded by all of the energy and creativity.
Timmory
Timmory, a native of Phoenix, AZ began as a shampoo girl at a local salon while still in high school. In 2003 she moved to San Francisco to pursue her love of art but ended up at beauty school instead. From the start, she knew that color would be her path and passion. While still in school, she developed a loyal following. Timmory?s experience includes several top boutique salons in San Francisco and New Orleans; she learned from and worked with a slew of talented cutters and colorists. For Timmory, the fusion of art and science is where her inspiration began and allows her to do great color. Her specialties range from rich chocolatey brunettes and strawberry blondes to natural golden highlights. Always looking to further her education, Timmory received advanced education in hair painting and keratin treatments. When Timmory is not doing color, you can find her in her studio making functional stoneware pottery.
Ceci Coon
Ceci began her career in her native Santa Cruz. Inspired to specialize in haircutting, she moved to San Francisco and apprenticed at Harper Paige under the talent of Michelle Snyder and David Tolls. She prides herself on creating haircuts focused on each individuals needs and lifestyles. As well as styling tips to help recreate their look at home. Influenced by her California coastal upbringing, Ceci finds freedom in her cutting and styling techniques. A lover of music and fashion from an early age, her esthetic is inspired by bohemian babes Charlotte Gainsbourg, model Freja Beha Erichsen, and the band Wild Belle.
Harper Paige is the dream child of two long time colorists of the famed Union Square salon Cowboys and Angels. Owners Katie Casey and Marie Warden created a refuge for those seeking classic styles with a modern twist. Surrounded by some of the best shopping and dining in San Francisco, Harper Paige offers upscale service in an intimate setting. Katie and Marie are excited to share their salon and the unique culture they bring to it.
