Since 1993, The Half Shell has been one of the local favorites in Troy, Alabama. Our goal is to serve great food, and provide a fun, laid-back atmosphere for all ages. We have the coldest beer and live entertainment at least once a week. We hope you will come be a part of the Half Shell experience.
The Half Shell started out as a very small place with a few tables and a bar. It was a fun little place where you could get oysters, shrimp, hamburgers, hot dogs and really cold beer. The cooking line
was right behind the bar, so your bartender was also the cook. Regulars from that time still talk
about the "old place."
