Kenya Highlands
a wonderful, lighter-bodied black tea from eastern kenya. the infusion yields a light gold cup, is refreshing on the palate, mildly sweet with very faint floral notes. though much of the kenya's teas have been used for mass production, there are indeed nice quality selections to be found. this one will surprise you.
Sencha Shan Izumi
sencha shan izumi is a delicious light-steamed sencha from shizuoka. it is smooth and lightly sweet with a crisp mouthfeel, fresh spring aroma, and vibrant green cup. this is excellent during the morning or early afternoon, perfect for a gradual, consistent lift. we stock this tea in limited amounts to ensure maximum freshness.
Tikuanyin Traditional
though it is common these days for tikuanyin to be lighter, greener, with more emphasis on overtly floral characteristics, this is the type we first fell in love with. higher oxidized and roasted longer than new tikuanyins (which we also love), this tea's character is warm, full, creamy and sweet. we get rich notes of maple or honey with an up-front presence that is perfectly balanced. generations of history, culture and pride handed down and presented in a cup. an excellent companion to our phenomenal tikuanyin comp. reserve.

Wuyi Jin Fo Reserve
these long, twisted leaves are mid-oxidized before being high-fired to yield an extra fine wuyi yan cha with an overtly toasty character. reminiscent of dark chocolate, sometimes a hint of toasted coconut, with mildly sweet caramelized notes. some pick up a subtle peach note between infusions.

this single-origin breakfast tea also hails from the satrupa estate. smaller cut assam leaves yield a more robust infusion, yet the abundant gold tips ensure a more balanced cup than most traditional breakfast teas.
