Hacienda on Manchester’s building is one of the oldest in all of St. Louis County, dating back to 1861 when it was originally built as a residence for two steamboat skippers. The first in a series of restaurants, "Chalet de Normandie” was founded in 1951, which was followed by "Parente's Italian Village’, and then "Oliver’s”. Hacienda moved to the property in 1977 and has since made significant improvements including renovations to all of our dining rooms, the bar and front lounge, our own tortilla factory and “La Terraza”, our outdoor terrace which is one of the largest and most renowned in all of St. Louis.
