Half Day Family Fun 5 Hours fishing
This trip departs at 11am and returns at 4 pm. The 11 am departure makes it easy to get the family ready with out getting up at 5 am!!! The price includes Rod n reel, frozen bait, hooks, sinkers, parking, and cleaning your catch. This trip is action packed, fishing for reef fish in 25-40 feet of water. We catch Key West Snapper, Black Seabass, Porgies and some Grouper. This trip is kid friendly and moms can fish or go on our upper observation deck to soak up the sun or take pictures. It is common for us to see Dolphin, Manatee, Sharks and Sea Turtles on this trip. FUN for the whole family!!!

12 Hour Trip Description
12 hour Wednesdays
This trip departs at 6am and returns 6pm the same day. The price includes all meals and beverages, live and dead bait, tackle, ice and cleaning your catch. The ride out is 2-4 hours water depth 50-100 feet and we target Grouper Red and Gag, as well as Mangrove Snapper and sometimes Amberjack. This trip is a great choice or those anglers that want a shot at Big Fish with out a multi-day trip. 1 day bag limit on this trip.

2 day Deep Water Tile Fish, Snowy Grouper
Fishing Saturday on the 100 fathom edge for Grey Tile fish and snowy grouper. We also will be targeting Queen and Yellow Eye Snapper. Giant Amberjack fishing on the 80 fathom breaks. Saturday night fishing the 30-40 fathom breaks for mangrove snapper, vermillion snapper and scamp grouper. Sunday morning head for home.

2 day Elbow Red Snapper *special permit and Scamp Hunt
The ride out takes approximately 8 hrs. water depth is 150-240 feet and we fish Friday and Saturday night for Mangrove and Vermillion Snapper. Saturday we’re fishing offshore ledges for Gag, Red and Scamp Grouper. Amberjack and King Mackerel are usually caught on these ledges as well. There is a Two day bag limit on this trip. This trip most of the time produces larger fish than the Middle Grounds trips and requires a more skilled angler due to fast moving current and water depth. *max 1 red snapper per person for this trip.

The ride out is approximately 15 hours. Fishing starts Friday morning between 90 and 110 fathoms for Queen Snapper and Snowy Grouper. Friday night some bottom fishing in 70 fathoms for Yellow Eye Snapper and Scamp Grouper. Fish all day Sunday for more Queen Snapper and Tile fish.

This trip departs at 8 pm and returns two days later between 4 and 6 pm. The price includes all meals and beverages, ice and cleaning your catch. Travel time is 5-7 hours. We have many customers who have requested a trip that our deckhands are allowed to fish. This trip is for the experienced angler who does not need much assistance from the deckhands. This is the only Gulfstar trip that the mates are permitted to fish with our customers. If you’re into jigging and want to have an old school head boat experience, this trip is for you. We will be fishing spots that we always ride over while going to pulley ridge and other areas. We will fish for Gag Grouper and Red Snapper *, Amberjack, Red and Scamp Grouper during the day and Mangrove, Yellowtail and Vermillion Snapper fishing during the night. There is a Two day bag limit on this trip. *Limit 1 Red Snapper, 1 Gag Grouper per person.

52 Hour Gulfstar’s Golden Grounds *Special permit Red Snapper
This trip departs at 12 noon and returns 52 hours later. You get Elbow snapper action at night and deep water grouper/snapper action on the Golden grounds during the day. The fishing depths at night is 160-240 feet and 350-450 feet on the Golden grounds. The Golden grounds is an area around 2 miles wide and 7 miles long that we don’t normally fish on our deep water trips because the past two years we have been fishing much from 500-850 feet. We call it the golden grounds because almost every time we go there we catch really well and we feel like we found a pot of gold. You can expect to catch Snowy and Yellow-edge, Scamp, Speckled hind and Warsaw grouper, Yellow-eye, Vermillion on the Golden grounds and Mangrove snapper and Giant Amberjack on the Elbow. There will also be the possibility to get into a good bite of Black-fin tuna and King Mackerel at night, because December is prime migration time and the Elbow is a regular stop for these speedsters. The trip is limited to 12 passengers and the price is $825 tip included. *Limit 2 Red Snapper per person.

This trip departs at 8 pm and returns two days later between 4 and 6 pm. The price includes all meals and beverages, live and dead bait, tackle, ice and cleaning your catch. Travel time is 7-8 hours Fishing Top secret spots for massive American Red Snapper, Amberjack, Gag, Red and Scamp Grouper during the day. Mangrove, Yellowtail and Vermillion and Red Snapper fishing during the night. On this trip we have caught Giant African Pompano, Kingfish, Cobia, Kitty Mitchell Grouper, Red Snapper, and Gag Grouper up to almost 50lbs. This is a Trophy Trip were we target quality (size) not quantity! There is a Two day bag limit on this trip. *2 Red Snapper and 1 Gag Grouper per person.

This is a trip to the part of the gulf known as the 30 break. This is where the bottom depth changes abruptly at 180 feet and creates a hiding place for all of the big offshore grouper and snapper. It can also be home to some pelagic fish like wahoo and black-fin tuna. The fish that we catch here are generally larger, angry and meaner than most other places that are fished in the gulf, because of its distance offshore and availability of larger bait fish. Bring your cooler!!!! *2 Red snapper and 1 Gag Grouper per person.

3 day Deep Water Pully Ridge & Beyond
This trip departs 12 Noon and returns approximately 12 Noon . The ride out is about 13 hours. Fishing depth is between 240 and 850 feet. We will be fishing day and night for deep water species like Yellow Eye Snapper, Tile fish, Scamp Grouper, Yellow Edge Grouper and Vermillion and Queen Snapper. The Pully Ridge area has a series of deep water ridges that extend for up to 30 miles that run parallel to the West Florida Escarpment. This trip is a proven box filler, bring you cooler!
