Greenwood Country Club, founded as a golf club in 1927, is one of the oldest private clubs in the country as well as Greenwoods only Private Country Club. The club has one of the finest 18-hole golf courses in the state, along with a driving range, putting green and 3 practice holes. The course features Crenshaw Bent Grass Greens. This championship layout features 6 sets of tees for the enjoyment of golfers of all skill levels. From the longest tees it features 6800 yards of golf for a par of 72. The course was designed by George Cobb. PGA Golf Professionals are available for private lessons and clinics are offered for all ages and abilities.
