About Us
Green Valley Weavers & Knitters is located on the west side of Colorado Springs, CO near the historic Old Colorado City District. In addition to having a stellar selection of name brand yarns, the shop has fibers from local artists including Spruce Dragon and Woodlake Woolies. Kathleen Orr, the owner, has made this fiber haven a relaxed, friendly and welcoming environment. Her staff is made up of knowledgeable fiber artists who are ready to help you with your projects. The events at the shop include a variety of classes, study groups, special events and visiting teachers. There is always a place to sit and a pot of coffee on. Knitters, crocheters, spinners, weavers, felters, tatters and other fiber enthusiasts are all welcome.
