Muay Thai really is known as the art of 8 limbs, and you'll just have to take this kickboxing class to find out why. At Gracie Barra, you'll learn that the 8 limbs come from the use of both hands, elbows, knees. and shins. A practitioner of Muay Thai "nak muay" thus has the ability to execute strikes using eight "points of contact" as opposed to two (fists) in many Western boxing styles.
