Located at the intersection of Cermak & Wabash in Chicago’s south loop, Chef Luciano & Gourmet Chicken have been serving up gourmet food at budget-friendly prices since 1982. Although there have been many names throughout the years (Gourmet Fish, Pollo Al Carbon), our ownership and basic philosophy have not changed. You may be wondering about the difference between the restaurants, so please allow me to explain. Gourmet Chicken, located at 43 E. Cermak, was the first restaurant at this location and has been going strong since 1982. Here, you will find our famous fried jumbo chicken wings, oven roasted chicken with pilav rice, delicious homemade curries, and delicately fried seafood.
In 1992, we expanded into the space located slightly west at 49 E Cermak and opened Chef Luciano. The focus here is on fresh salads, pastas with homemade sauces, and broiled seafood. Chef Luciano prides himself on using only the freshest ingredients available. Here, you will find Chilean Sea Bass, Halibut & Salmon along with our famous Caesar Salad with homemade dressing.
