An immigrant from Mexico, she was a figure larger than life in the minds of her children and grandchildren. A quiet woman, with a passion for cooking, she turned simple ingredients into the foods and flavors that would one day grace the tables of Goode Company Taqueria.Just about anytime of the day you could find her in the kitchen cooking. She loved to tell stories about her childhood home, and she took every opportunity to teach the kids about the foods and preparations that had been passed down to her.
