This party is becoming one of our most popular themes. The birthday princess and guests will dress up and play the "Find Elsa" game. Of course lots of dancing and singing to the popular Frozen soundtrack too. The birthday girl will blow out the candles on her Frozen cake and will open gifts on her velvet throne! Princess Anna may just pay a visit before traveling back to Arendelle! Price for up to 10 children: $289 ($15 for each additional child). Princess Anna appearance is an additional $50. Pretty Princess Tea
This party provides the ultimate in royal fun as she and her friends have a tea party and dress up in the finest attire fit for a princess – dresses, crowns, hats, boa's, jewelry and accessories galore! We will read a giant fairy tale book and play fun games like Princess and the Pea! With tiara in place she'll blow out the candles on her Glass Slipper cake and will open gifts on her velvet throne, surrounded by her princess-pals, with "ladies in waiting" attending her! Fairy Princess Tea
This party is one of a kind and the birthday girl and her guests will have the opportunity to use their imaginations and believe! They will dress up in dresses, fairy wings and look for fairies using magnifying glasses and fairy dust! After looking for fairies the birthday girl and her guests will enjoy a tea party, birthday cake, and make their own fairy wings to take home with them. Fancy Nancy Tea
This tea party is exceptional; it is extraordinary (that's fancy for great.)!! The birthday girl and her guests will dress up; learn "fancy" words while reading Bonjour Butterfly, and play elaborate games (that's fancy for fancy). Of course, it would not be a party if we did not have a lovely tea party with china and cloth napkins. The birthday girl and her guests will decorate butterfly wings to take home with them. Princess Pirate Tea
Aargh Matey and Shiver me timbers!! There will be no walking the plank at this tea party! Our princess pirates will have a jolly good time dressing up in dresses, jewels, and oh yes pirate hats, too! We will search for the princess pirate treasure and of course have a tea party for all. Our princess pirates will decorate a frame with pirate stickers to take back to their ship! This is a great party for girls (princesses) and boys (pirates) to attend!! Very similar to the Princess Pirate Tea party but the pirates can help the princesses look for that long lost pirate treasure! Dress up for girls and boys and fun to be had by all who attend! My Doll and Me
The Birthday girl and her guests will have loads of fun dressing up in "tea attire" and playing games with their favorite doll. Each girl will introduce their dolls to their friends and girls and dolls will enjoy the birthday celebration. "Oh my, oh my...have any of you seen a White Rabbit with a rather large pocket watch?" We have at The Glass Slipper! The birthday girl and her friends will dress up in beautiful tea dresses and hats. We will begin reading Alice in Wonderland and we are joined by our very own Alice in Wonderland! Alice will pose for pictures, play games with the girls such as "the white rabbit game", and of course join us for tea. She will stay at the party for 45 minutes then she will need to leave to look for the white rabbit. We will continue to enjoy the tea party and party festivities. Reserve your party online today! Here's how it works:
Visit The Glass Slipper's Online Reservation System.
You'll be asked to create a user account and then you can securely reserve your party on our calendar. Simply select the date and time block and enter your information. A $100 dollar deposit is required. If you see a date/time block listed in the calendar below but it's not available in the Online Reservation System, the party is reserved.

A $100 deposit is required to reserve a birthday party.
We will refund your deposit minus a $10 processing fee provided we have a 30 day written cancellation notice. The balance of the party is due at the end of the party. An 18% gratuity will be added to the total bill of each birthday party.

White Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread
3 Cups sugar
1 Cup vegetable oil
2/3 Cup water
1-1/2 Tsp salt
1 Tsp cinnamon
1 Tsp nutmeg
2 Cups canned pumpkin
3-1/2 Cups all-purpose flour
1-1/2 Cups white chocolate chips
2 Tsp baking soda
Grease two bread pans.
Preheat oven 350 degrees F.
In large bowl, beat the eggs.
Mix in sugar, vegetable oil, water, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Add the pumpkin, flour, and chocolate chips, Mix well.
Last, mix in the baking soda.
Scrape batter into two greased bread pans.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 60 minutes. Insert knife into bread to test for doneness.

1 Cup sour cream
1 Tsp baking soda
4 Cups all-purpose flour
1 Cup white sugar
2 Tsp baking powder
1/4 Tsp cream of tartar
1 Tsp salt
1 Cup butter
1 Cup of raisins/currants
In a small bowl, blend the sour cream and baking soda, and set aside.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease a large baking sheet. In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, cream of tarter, and salt. Cut in the butter. Stir in the sour cream mixtures and egg into the flour into the flour mixture until just moistened. Mix in raisins. Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface, and knead briefly. Pat dough into a 3/4 inch thick round. Cut into 12 wedges, and place them 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheet. Bake 12-15 minutes in the preheated oven, until golden brown on the bottom.

1 Heaping Tbls sugar
1 Tsp vanilla extract
Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl and beat with a mixer until stiff. Refrigerate until ready to use. Best when prepared and served the same day. Makes 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 cups.

The Powell Cotillion will help your child develop the confidence and poise to meet any social challenge - the awkward first co-ed dance, social occasion or formal event. Your child will learn life skills he or she will apply throughout his or her adult life!

Powell Cotillion combines educational and interactive lessons in social etiquette and dance to educate young people in the importance of social graces in today's competitive world. Your child's success in higher academics, and later in business, may be determined in part by his or her knowledge, understanding and use of positive social skills - learned, practiced and enjoyed at Powell Cotillion! We, at Powell Cotillion, know and understand the need to be considerate of others in our daily activities at home, school and away. For 24 years, Nora has taught etiquette to thousands of children in central Ohio, while Stacey has taught party and event planning for 10 years. Through the use of interactive lessons and roleplay, your son or daughter will see first-hand how they are perceived by others – especially the adults in their lives – as they act out real life social situations: at the dining table, in public, at a party, while on the dance floor – to name a few! The traditional dance and dance etiquette components of Powell Cotillion includes
dance floor etiquette, courteous approach and dance request, polite responses, graciously offering and accepting compliments, basic dance steps for four-step, foxtrot, swing and several popular line dances.

What is the Dress Code for Classes?
Sunday Best: Young gentlemen should wear collared shirts and khaki or dress pants. Young ladies should wear conservative skirts or dresses. (Jeans, shorts, tank-tops, halter tops, flip flops, and athletic shoes are not appropriate. Hard soled shoes are necessary because of the dancing).
What is the Dress Code for our Powell Cotillion Social Dance on the last evening?
Looking polished and properly dressed for the formal occasion is essential: Young ladies should wear a conservative dress or skirt and top. Hard-soled shoes, sandals or dress shoes. Young gentlemen should wear a long-sleeved, buttoned down dress shirt and tie. Dress pants or Khaki pants and polished dress shoes.
Can families be present during class time?
To limit shyness and avoid potential distractions, we respectfully ask that families of Powell Cotillion students remain out of the room during class time.
Can families attend the Cotillion Social Dance on the last evening?
Parents are encouraged to attend and observe the social dance on the last evening. However, we respectfully request that siblings of Powell Cotillion students do not attend the social dance.
What adults will be present to supervise?
Both Powell Cotillion directors will be present at all times. Parent volunteer(s) may also be present, depending on the number of students enrolled.

Daisy, Brownie and Junior Girls Scout Troops
There are many reasons for a troop to come together and celebrate at The Glass Slipper!

Girl Scout Tea Party
This is the perfect outing for all Daisy, Brownie or Junior Girl Scouts.
Girls will take part in a fancy three-course tea party and use china and cloth napkins, drinking pink tea while dressed in their Sunday best. Programs are 1.5-2 hours and cost per child is $15-20 plus 18% gratuity (cost depends on age and menu). Please check with Stacey Haney regarding menu options. Minimum of 6 girls.
Mom and Me tea with Girl Scout troops is also available and cost per Mom and Daughter is $35 (plus 18% gratuity).
Minimum of 3 Mom and Daughter pairs.
