The culmination of a dream is here! Therese Smith, owner of the former Georgio’s California Pizza and Pasta always craved to transform her third generation family Italian eatery into one offering a modern and exhilarating dining experience. Early last year, noticing the metamorphosis of the surrounding area; new restaurants sprouting up, dynamic clubs, and Angelenos venturing over to Studio City for a night out, she felt the time was prime. With her son Liam Smith and long-time friend Michael Mallow she recruited chef Jeffrey Nimer, a James Beard Nominee and owner of Haute Chefs LA, to help bring her dreams to fruition. Georgio’s Cucina has been extraordinarily well received, garnering accolades from diners and critics alike. Guests are thrilled, and Therese Smith is planning to extend the experience, vowing that this incarnation of Georgio’s will be here for another three generations.
