The name of this wine refers to the fog the grapes experience in the mornings, especially in the latter part of the growing season post-veraison. By "catching the fog" each morning, the grapes warm up slowly each day, allowing our winemaker to keep them on the vines longer and the flavors to develop further before the harvest. This special blend is created each vintage by careful selection of individual barrels (100% French) from the best lots of Cabernet Sauvignon. Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot. Tasting Note: This barrel select blend has complex aromatic and flavor layers that evolve in the glass, beginning with wood characters followed by tart berry and lovely notes of rosemary and thyme.
