Our 2007 vintage is characterized by dark ruby color, firm supple tannins, good natural acidity and concentrated flavors. Overtones of black cherry, currant and blackberry in combination with undertones of chocolate, coffee and pepper meld with the vanilla and cedar nuances of French oak in waves of complexity. On the palate the wine is deep and brooding, with great structure and depth of flavor. The wine has concentrated yet supple tannins, good fruit and acidity and a persistent finish, contributing to a finely balanced wine consistent with the classic Bordeaux style of our prior releases. Falcone Vineyard Chardonnay, Paso Robles 2009
Since moving to Santa Barbara County, we have grown to love Chardonnay again due to the wonderful cool climate offered in the Santa Maria Valley where we purchased the grapes for this wine. We selected the Sierra Madre Vineyard and a particular clone selection in this vineyard that we have some background with. It is a supple wine with great structure, yet produced in a style that we appreciate given the cool climate conditions. The wine is a refreshing break from many of the current heavy-handed California Chardonnay wines. Aromas: Honeysuckle, lemon rind, caramel and vanilla. Flavors: Mineral notes of wet stone, rich mid-palate with a lemon drop finish

Niner Wine Estates 2008 Fog Catcher, Paso Robles
The name of this wine refers to the fog the grapes experience in the mornings, especially in the latter part of the growing season post-veraison. By "catching the fog" each morning, the grapes warm up slowly each day, allowing our winemaker to keep them on the vines longer and the flavors to develop further before the harvest. Tasting Note: This barrel select blend has complex aromatic and flavor layers that evolve in the glass, beginning with wood characters followed by tart berry and lovely notes of rosemary and thyme. Flavors are full and big but not overrige, with chalky tannins and a long, dry leafy finish. For a soft approach, we recommend decanting this wine. Michael David Est. Winery 1984. A 27 year old hillside vineyard located in southern Mendocino near Hopland, CA, longtime farming family, Nelson Vineyards, owns and manages this ranch. A very famous Sonoma clone, Paccini, is the bud wood source of this Zinfandel. Cole loam soils that inhabit production keeping the tonnage under 4 tons / acre and help exhibit structured spicy terroir of the area. Our wine making team is continuing to produce top quality wines not only from Lodi, but also carry that same wine making style towards other top Zinfandel regions in California. A sinful blend indeed! Our flagship Zinfandel was devised by the two Phillips brothers in their search for a blended Zin so captivating that no one could refuse. With consistency in mind, the brothers decided to blend the fruit of Lodi's finest growers to fill the bottles of Michael David's new-fangled wine. In the end, seven vineyards were chosen for their superiority. Now, how do you label a wine so unique in style? Looking to their past, the two Phillips brothers quickly related the Seven Sins from their Catholic school upbringing to the seven Old Vine Zinfandels blended in their wine. Castello di Gabbiano, Gabbiano Chianti Classico 2009 Italy
Wine production: Produced according to the most traditional Chianti Classico fermentation processes on the skins, in temperature-controlled tanks at a temperature of 28°C. Malolactic fermentation takes place naturally in steel tanks. The wine is bottled a year after harvest, after several (5/7) months ageing in medium and large capacity French oak casks - from 15 to 50 hectolitres. The moderate use of the wood, the choice of large casks, according to the most classical method, allows the wine to preserve the most natural characteristics of the Sangiovese grape, bringing them into harmony: fruitiness, freshness and the level of tannin
