Kansas City's favorite breakfast joint started in 1996 when George and Connie Glaholt opened their little cafe at the corner of Wornall & 81st in Kansas City. Their combination of eclectic decor, great tunes and hearty, made-to-order from-scratch breakfasts proved to be an instant hit. The original restaurant has since relocated to 103rd & State Line Rd. (next to Jasper's) and is still a family-run operation. Georgie Porgie's celebrated the opening of it's second store at 149th and Metcalf on October 5, 2009, featuring the addition of a dinner menu.
