Centuries ago, the “gaucho”, Brazil’s equivalent of a nomadic North American cowboy, sparked the country’s popular past time of grilling meats on an open fire. Today the tradition is continued through some of the best Brazilian steakhouses, such as Gauchão (ga-u-shoun).
