Gary's roots are in the Quad Cities on the Mississippi River. He spent his formative years in Davenport, Iowa, learning the ins and outs of riverboats. When Uncle Sam called, Gary served as an MP, dog handler in the US Army. It was not long after that Gary found his wings the love for creating great food and presentation for others to enjoy! He & his wife Barbara shared their early years together working at such prestigious places including Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo, FL and Quail Hollow Country Club in Charlotte North Carolina. After 25 years in the restaurant business, including management of The Dock Restaurant on the Mississippi River as well as numerous others, Gary changed gears, became a Network Engineer in the IT field. Barbara became a Real Estate Broker. Gary continued preparing exquisite meals for his family, and friends.
In 2008 Gary changed gears again to chase his dream and opened his kitchen with top-notch, traditional service in a relaxed atmosphere for everyone to enjoy!
