this coffee has huge body with very moderate acidity. think chocolate covered cherries. it is a great coffee to drink anytime of the day. here's a cool note about the quality of this coffee: the farmers are paid extra money for bringing ripe cherries for processing. this is good for two reasons: 1. the farmers are paid more for their hard work, which is always a good thing, and 2. the ripe cherries ensure more uniform processing and better flavor in the cup. so everybody wins with this coffee!
from the stunningly beautiful lake atitlan region, this coffee has a bright lemony acidity with enough sweetness to leave you with a wonderful aftertaste. this coffee is a direct trade coffee where farmers who are paid significantly more than if they had to pool their lots with conventional coffees.
if you want bold, distinctive coffee, give this one from the island of sumatra a try. it's got the earthiness a sumatran is known for with a frothy body and a dry acidity
Papua New Guinea Goroka
juicy, tropical fruit notes define this coffee. a very good papua new guinea coffee.
ethiopian coffees are just plain incredible-- so different than anything else! this harrar has think, rich body with hints of blueberry and chocolate.
this coffee has great body and a rich, smooth finish. it's a blend of 3 central and south american coffees that provides a balanced, unobtrusive coffee that goes perfectly with your morning breakfast. this is the coffee we served every day in our shop.
India Mysore Plantation
india produces some very interesting coffees with some interesting names. this coffee--from the mysore region--is low in acidity with thick body and very mild, sweet flavors with a hint of nuttiness.

this coffee also deserves a better name. french roast coffee is often cheap beans fried to a crisp, but you won't find that here. this is a blend of coffees that handle the heat well and give a great bittersweet chocolate flavor with hints of smoke and spice.
Peace & Quiet Blend
have you ever wished you could just buy yourself some peace and quiet? well, now you can! don't think this coffee is wimpy, peace and quiet are much too precious to be wimpy. this is a wonderfully balanced blend that is rich and smooth with a flavor that lingers in your mouth long after you've sipped the last drop. this is a good thing.
most coffee companies give their espresso blends some weird, funky or cool name. we probably should, but for now, we're going to be boring. however, this blend is far from boring. you'll notice wonderful fruit and nuts in the cup with terrific body and very muted acidity. it's the blend we used in the shop. great in milk or solo. it's also great as a drip coffee. it really deserves a cool name. try it and give us some ideas.
