Similar to yoga and Pilates, a workout at TheBodyRX simultaneously builds full-body strength, flexibility, balance and core power. However, the use of the TRX improves on yoga and Pilates in that it assists in identifying the proper muscle to be worked and prevents use of "helper" muscles to compensate for target muscle weakness. For this reason, it does not take many repetitions of an exercise before the targeted muscle is worked to exhaustion, allowing you to see results very quickly, often in as few as five sessions. Because I strive to tailor each session to the clients in attendance, results are greatly enhanced by starting with a one-on-one personal training session and assessment. This provides you with an introduction to my suspension training program and allows me to understand any physical limitations you are experiencing as well as to identify any muscular imbalances that should be addressed in devising an effective exercise program for you. From there you can decide whether you would like to continue with personal training sessions, or if you would prefer a small group training environment, I can recommend which of my class offerings would best suit your needs.
Private Training Sessions
This is the most effective choice for anyone with physical limitations that would prevent them from transitioning easily between exercises performed standing and those done lying on the floor or on their knees, as well as anyone preferring a very tailored exercise plan. Small Group Training Sessions
These 50 minute classes are limited to 4 participants per session and are ideal for those seeking camaraderie and cost effectiveness, with each session tailored to the needs of those clients in attendance.

TRX Challenge Sessions
These classes are designed for those already proficient in the training method who need only minimal instruction. Classes are originally choreographed to provide a full body workout in 45 minutes, with the same class repeated throughout the month to allow for mastery of the exercises. Minimal transition time between exercises keeps the class moving quickly to add a cardiovascular element to these sessions.

Scottsdale's only power cycling studio, offering group classes utilizing the CycleOps 300 Pro indoor cycle, which provides participants with real time feedback regarding cadence, speed, distance, and most importantly POWER output. We also offer group TRX suspension training classes in a second studio that has been optimized for TRX strength and flexibility training. Studio is only open during scheduled class times.
