Beginners Open Studio is for students who are interested in floral design and want to try working with flowers. This studio class provides the opportunity to create a beautiful, seasonal arrangement while learning some tips and tricks of design.
Students who take this series are looking for an opportunity to take a concentrated schedule of classes to learn the Introductory and Intermediate level classes. This is one of the best ways to fully immerse yourself in floral design and learn the daily activities of working in a flower shop.
Students attending this class will learn more about basic structures and principals of floral design, the characteristics of soft-stemmed flowers and how they are different than hard stemmed flowers, methods of combining different types of flowers together for centerpieces and Dutch Bouquet.
Advanced Design Series
Learn to celebrate great floral design by focusing on specific technique commonly used for achieving a specific look for each floral creation. This series consists of 4 classes that take place in two days. Each student will be responsible for creating a sketch and color pallete of each look and choose their own flowers for each design.
Advanced Wedding Series
Learn to celebrate great wedding floral design by focusing on specific technique commonly used for achieving a specific look for each wedding floral creation. Class 14: Wiring Flowers for Hair and Corsages and BoutonnieresReview which flowers are best to use for the hair. Demonstrate how to wire flowers for better control and easy pinning.
