Team strength training sessions at Fitness 1st are instructed by certified personal trainers and are designed to be both motivational and educational. We use a small group format to help you achieve your athletic goals safely and efficiently. Our trainers are here to offer accountability and support to help you become a better all around athlete.
Core Team Training
Fitness 1st, the leader in sports training, is located next to the National Sports Center in Blaine, MN. The new team training center is equipped with the latest equipment to provide teams with a challenging workout focused on building CORE strength and increasing athletic performance. Elite Core Training
The Fitness 1st Elite CORE Training program is an interval training program that incorporates cardio drills with high intensity strength training exercises. Some of the class favorites include; the climbing rope, kettle bells, plyo box jumps, and the monkey bars. This class is appropriate for advanced athletes currently participating in post high school athletics.
Private soccer skills training provided by FSA.
One on One Session
Undivided individual attention to work on skills and soccer specific movements that can get you one step ahead of your opponent. The sessions are also to assist in improving the players knowledge and understanding of the game and to take them to the next level, be it High School, College or Pro.
Massage
Every massage session at Fitness 1st is customized to each individuals specific needs.
Deep Tissue
Deep tissue massage is a type of massage therapy that focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. It is especially helpful for chronically tense and contracted areas such as stiff necks, low back tightness, and sore shoulders. Some of the same strokes are used as classic massage therapy, but the movement is slower and the pressure is deeper and concentrated on areas of tension and pain.
Sports Massage
Sports massage was originally developed to help athletes prepare their bodies for optimal performance, recover after a big event, or function well during training. Sports massage emphasizes prevention and healing of injuries to the muscles and tendons. But you don't have to be in the Olympics to benefit from sports massage. Sports massage is also good for people with injuries, chronic pain or restricted range of motion. The massage therapist generally concentrates on a specific problem area.
Swedish
In all Swedish massage, the therapist performs various strokes that warm up and work the muscle tissue, releasing tension and breaking up muscle "knots" or adhered tissues, called adhesions. Swedish massage promotes relaxation, eases muscle tension and creates other health benefits.
Prenatal
The benefits of massage can improve overall prenatal health for many pregnant women. Along with the guidance and advice of a prenatal care provider, massage therapy can be incorporated into routine prenatal care as an emotional and physical health supplement proven to improve pregnancy outcome, and maternal health. Consult with your midwife or obstetrician before beginning any new therapeutic practice.

First time massage clients recieve 50% off of their initial session. Pre-pay massages recieve 50% off of all sessions. 24 hour cancellation policy applies to all massage sessions. If you arrive late to your massage, that time will be deducted from your session. does not apply to upgrade charges.
