Insanity: Core Crusher
Location: FitFight Main (1586 Market St.) Level: All levels welcome! We start and end the week with a sharp focus on the core. This is an INSANITY Total Body Cardio class but are laser focused on the core for this one! The least jumpy of our Insanity Classes. You will sweat, you will work harder than you ever have and you will thank us at the end! All insanity classes are in FitFight Main, our matted space. We train barefoot for this class. This class is great for all levels! If you have to modify the moves, our coaches will help you!
Zumba Fitness - Dance Club Party Experience

Zumba takes the "work" out of workout by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style calorie-burning dance fitness party. Combat Sambo Conditioning and Training
Location: FitFight Main (1586 Market St.) Level: Intermediate or higher. A Russian martial art and combat sport. The word "SAMBO" is an acronym for SAMooborona Bez Oruzhiya, which literally translates as "self-defense without weapons". Sambo is relatively modern since its development began in the early 1920s by the Soviet Red Army to improve their hand-to-hand combat abilities. Intended to be a merger of the most effective techniques of other martial arts, Sambo has roots in Japanese Judo, international styles of wrestling, plus traditional folk styles of wrestling. You want real MMA? Sambo is real MMA. Monday & Friday Classes are Intermediate Level Classes. Beginners are welcome on Monday, but this is not a beginner class. For Friday classes, it is mandatory to get the instructor's approval prior to participating in the class since it is a full contact night. Combat Sambo is a full contact sport where the combatants wear Jackets, Head Gear, Gloves, and Shin Protectors. Striking, Throws and Submissions are legal. Training will include warm ups, stretching, and full contact sparring. Sambo was MMA before some marketing person coined the term MMA. The coaches have the right to turn anyone away who they believe is not ready for full contact fighting

Catch Wrestling Class (Grappling)
Location: FitFight Main (1586 Market St.) Level: All (This is a grappling class, do not forget) Catch-as-Catch-Can is defined as "using or making due with whatever means are available." Jiu-jitsu translates to "the gentle art" and Judo translates to "the gentle way." Catch as Catch Can Wrestling is regarded throughout the world as "the violent art," due to its agressive nature when compared to these other popular styles. It is also the father of Olympic Freestyle Wrestling (once commonly known as Amateur Catch as Catch Can) and Collegiate Folk style Wrestling. This is an all levels class. If we feel you are not ready or capable for doing the workout or techniques, you will be asked to sit out for that portion of the class. We recommended that students come in warmed up and stretched
Self Defense (Krav Maga)
Location: SideKick (Weekdays)/FitFight (Weekends) Level: ALL. Classes can cover fundamental, intermediate, and advanced level Krav techniques. Students will learn: the basics of awareness, standing, and movement; striking and defending with both arms and legs and fighting tactics; countering armed and unarmed attacks, including hair grabs, chokes, and bear hugs as well as attacks or threats with knives, sticks, and guns. Deep Stretch Yoga
Location: Sidekick. Level: All. A one hour class designed to stretch all the key muscle groups and areas of the body. Students will be assisted to ease out tired muscles, and build strong, lean & toned muscles by learning a series of poses which will can form a home practice. An all levels class. Very well suited for stretching out the body before or after a stronger workout class
Train with a Trainer (Big John)
Location: FitFight. Level: All. Come in and get a workout in with John Silver. This means, train with John, train like John, and get ripped like John. This is a resistance based class. You will be trained to use battle ropes, kettle bells, rings, bands, and your body. Come work out with John!
Stretch and Revive
Level: ALL. Location: SideKick. This class is designed to relieve the stress and tight muscles associated with sitting at a desk and stresses associated with working in San Francisco. This is not a yoga or meditation class, though we do practice deep breathing techniques to help release stress. Take It To The Floor (dance)
Location: SideKick. Level: ALL. All bodies, all ages, all genders. No experience needed. It's time to get sexy - OFF your feet and ON the floor! Slink, slide, crawl, and roll on the floor to great music. Build your confidence and feel like Rihanna, Beyonce, and Brittney! A fusion dance class of all the best floor moves from burlesque, jazz, pole dancing, bellydance, and musical theater. This style of dance works the whole body - core, upper body, legs, glutes - the works. This is a body-positive, safe, welcoming, environment. We focus on rhythm, floor work, improvisation, personal expression, building confidence, and intentionality. Jujutsu
Location: Sidekick. Level: All. The practice of Jujutsu reaches back to the feudal warring era of Japan (Sengoku Jidai). The Jujutsu practiced in this class was transmitted along nine particular lineages and includes not only unarmed combat but also the use of weapons common to the battlefield of that era, including but not limited to the katana, rokushaku bo (6 ft. staff), hanbo (3 ft. staff) and spear. Practice in this class is taught and overseen by Ian Johnson, licensed instructor under Dr. Kacem Zoughari. Ian has practiced since 2001, and continues to make trips to Japan to deepen his study of the art. Rhythm - how to find the dance beat, how to tell the speed of a song, how to recover the beat when you loose it. In short, everything you need to get out on the dance floor with confidence and poise.
