the wekiwa marina was one of our most favorite places to enjoy a fine florida meal of fried catfish and hushpuppies. eating corn meal dusted catfish fingers and watching the evening raccoon feedings on the opposite bank of the narrow river, is a memory those of us that have been around awhile remember fondly. our fresh catfish is locally sourced and wild caught. just to make you remember too.

Fried Shrimp Appetizer
the "fish" prepares for you, a half'a pound of sweet, large shrimp. lightly dusted with simple seasonings and fried to tender perfection. the recipe comes to us from the fine folks that host the grant, florida, volunteer seafood festival. it's held every february, just a day trip away, in the metropolis of grant, florida 32949. we serve these shrimp all year long. you can toss them with any of our sauces, but why would you want to.
Sesame Seared Ahi Tuna
we coat top of the line yellow fin tuna with black and white sesame seeds and sear it rare. served with sesame soy sauce and spiced wasabi. nobody does it better.
alligator is better for your heart than the common chicken. less cholesterol and the "bite" of lobster. now, we take the gator and cut'm up in tender nuggets of white meat. the nuggets are then marinated in buttermilk, seasoned with everglades spices and fried to perfection. served up with fofer's remoulade. outstanding when tossed in one of our wing sauces.

coastal cut boneless chicken is our way of taking the best part of the bird and slicing it up ourselves. we coat these succulent morsels with our everglades blend and gently fry them for you. you can get'em with the skin still on'm or without. of course we'll toss'm in a sauce for you.
