Ferdos has been owned and operated by Maher Barazi since 2000. Maher is a Syrian native who moved to the U.S. 30 years ago. His love and expertise of Mediterranean food is what drives him to provide each and every guest with a memorable experience:

Maher believes that to bring each guest the best meal possible, it’s important to start with the freshest ingredients. All of the food is made from scratch in Ferdos kitchen – from the soups to each one of our sauces. Every single one of our meats is hand-cut and hand-trimmed in house. Ferdos is the first and only restaurant in Toledo to make its own pita bread. Maher personally spends two hours every day mixing, resting, rolling, and baking his made-from-scratch pita. Since it’s made fresh every day, there are no preservatives in our bread.
