Aromatherapy is the therapeutic use of essential oils which are pure plant essences that have been used all over the world for thousands of years. Ashiatsu
This modality typically uses the heel, sesamoid, arch and/or whole plantar surface of foot, and offers large compression, tension and shear forces with less pressure than an elbow, and is ideal for large muscles, such as in thigh, or for long-duration upper trapezius compressions
Craniosacral
Craniosacral Technique refers to the link between the cranium (head) and sacrum (the bone at the base of the spine). The craniosacral therapist is skilled at feeling the subtle movement as well as detecting areas of restriction in the skull, spine, sacrum, joints and muscles. Areas of restriction lead to decrease in nerve transmission, flow of vital fluids and then to symptoms of pain, fatigue and poor health. Because craniosacral therapy is unique in focusing on the central nervous system and its supporting components, it can be amazingly effective in relieving pain and dysfunction that other treatments have not helped. During a session, you will lie comfortably on a massage table fully clothed except for shoes and jewelry. Please wear comfortable clothes! The touch is extremely gentle and sensitive, so your treatment will be relaxing and enjoyable
Cupping
Cupping therapy is an ancient form of therapy in which a local suction is created on the skin, mobilizing blood flow in order to promote healing. Suction is created using heat or mechanical suction, the skin is gently drawn upwards by creating a vacuum in a cup over the target area of the skin. The cup stays in place for five to fifteen minutes to help treat pain, deep scar tissues in the muscles and connective tissue, muscle knots, and swelling
Deep Tissue
Focusing on the deeper layers of muscle tissue, deep tissue massage aims to release the chronic patterns of tension in the body through slow strokes and deep finger pressure on the contracted areas, either following or moving across the fibers of the muscles, tendons, and fascia. Also helps to break up and eliminate scar tissue. The client should feel better than ever within the first day or two following the massage
Hot Stone
Heated stone are applied to areas of tension to create a sensation of comfort and warmth. The heat from the stones allows the muscles to relax more easily and manipulation of a greater intensity is obtained
Injury Treatment
Injury Treatment Massage combines deep tissue, relaxation massage, and various treatment techniques, which aims at treating a specific site of injury caused by an auto accident or on the job injury such as carpal tunnel syndrome. Treatments may include the use of heat and ice packs, as well as active and passive stretching. Each session includes pre and post assessment from the therapist and recommended rehabilitation exercises to be performed at home
Lomi Lomi
