We decided to take over our first beautiful restaurant after friends and family urged us to share our wonderful receipes with others. After spending years entertaining friends, dining out and working in the business, El Flamboyan was born. As our culinary skills flourished, we began to incorporate other influences in our repertoire. Our tiny dining room may have expanded into other locations and our staff may have grown, but our devotion to quality is unchanging. Come sample our recipes and find out why El Flamboyan has a receipe for success!
Eddie dedicaded himself to helping young adults and his community working with Fairfield University for over 20 years. Until he was injured in 2009. When he finally recovered he wanted to take a long awaited trip to Puerto Rico. After visiting Puerto Rico in 2009, Eddie found himself craving Puerto Rican cuisine in his hometown of Bridgeport, CT. Much to his dismay he found that if you wanted something different other than your traditional fried finger food there were only a couple of places to go. Eddie then visited one of the locations. After receiving mediocre service and less then exceptional cuisine. Eddie vowed that he would open a place that would go above and beyond others expectations. Eddie then learned that in fact the restaurant was for sale. Apprehensive about buying an all out restaurant & bar alone Eddie took on a partner with restaurant expierence. After observing and learning the business he quickly bought his partner out and has been succesful ever since! Eddie is a true visionary with the skill to follow through!
